Summary n

As we grow our presence in Australia, we’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our expanding team in Melbourne . You’ll be the face of STERIS in Victoria, installing, maintaining, and repairing cutting edge Endoscopy , Operating Theatre , and Infection Control equipment. Your work will directly support hospitals and clinics in delivering safe, high quality care.

What You Will Do n

n
- Install, maintain, and repair STERIS medical equipment.
n
- Deliver exceptional customer support onsite, by phone, and via email.
n
- Diagnose faults and perform urgent repairs (including after-hours on-call rotation).
n
- Provide user training and technical guidance.
n
- Maintain accurate service records and manage spare parts inventory.
n
- Identify and recommend training needs and process improvements.
n

Requirements nn
- Trade/Technical Certificate or Diploma with hands‑on technical service experience.
n
- Restricted Electrical License or Full Electrical License.
n
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.




n
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle (car allowance provided).
n
- Willingness to travel across WA and work flexible schedule.
n
- Self‑motivated with strong decision‑making skills.
n

Preferred nn
- Previous field service experience.
n
- Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
n
- Customer focused mindset and strong communication skills.
n
