We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Lifting, Rigging & Height Safety Inspector to join our team.

n

This is a hands‑on role involving the inspection, testing, tagging, repair and maintenance of lifting, rigging and height safety equipment , ensuring all equipment is safe for use and compliant with relevant Australian Standards.

n

You’ll be working with a locally owned and operated business where you’ll be trusted to get on with the job, look after our clients and maintain a high standard of work.

n

For the right person, there will also be opportunities to get involved in CHPP maintenance and mine site work throughout NSW.

We specialise in inspection, testing, repair and supply of lifting, rigging and height safety equipment, with a strong focus on safety, compliance and quality workmanship. Our team works closely with our clients to ensure their equipment is safe, reliable and compliant with the relevant Australian Standards.

All equipment inspections and records are managed through our online inspection register, providing our clients with an efficient and reliable system for maintaining their equipment compliance.

In addition to our inspection and testing services, Valley Lifting & Maintenance is also involved in CHPP maintenance across mine sites throughout NSW.

We pride ourselves on delivering qualified, personalised service, building strong relationships with our clients and maintaining a practical, hands‑on approach to every job.

About the Role n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Inspecting, testing and tagging lifting, rigging and height safety equipment
n
- Repairing and maintaining lifting and rigging equipment
n
- Making sure equipment is safe, compliant and fit for use
n




- Completing inspection reports using online inspection software
n
- Tagging and preparing new equipment and stock orders
n
- Delivering equipment to clients
n
- Liaising with clients to understand their operational and safety requirements
n
- Safely operating vehicles, machinery, plant and equipment
n
- Travelling to client sites throughout regional NSW
n

About You n

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

n

n
- Previous experience inspecting lifting, rigging and/or height safety equipment
n
- A sound understanding of relevant Australian Standards
n
- A Dogging High Risk Work Licence (DG)
n
- A current Australian Driver Licence
n
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
n
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
n
- Good problem-solving and time‑management skills
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- The flexibility to travel regularly throughout regional NSW
n
- Availability to work overtime when required
n
- A current Order 45 medical, or the ability and willingness to successfully complete one
n

- Advanced Rigging High Risk Work Licence (RA)

- Forklift Licence
n
- Working at Heights
n
- Elevated Work Platform Licence
n
- Confined Space certificationPrevious CHPP maintenance experience
