We’re seeking dedicated staff to join our team for block work placements in regional areas .
n
Position: Youth Residential Worker
Location: Regional NSW (block work placements)
Employment Type: Full Time/Part Time Perm

Role and Responsibilities: n
As a Casual Youth Residential Worker, you will have a pivotal role in supporting young residents with their daily activities and personal development. Your responsibilities will include:
n
Assisting youth with daily living tasks, including personal care and hygiene.
n
Providing emotional support and building positive relationships with residents.
n
Facilitating recreational and educational activities to promote growth and development.
n
Supporting the youth in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.
n
Ensuring a safe and nurturing living environment.
n
Maintaining accurate records and documentation of residents' progress and well-being.
n
Engaging with Young People using trauma informed responses
Requirements: n
Willingness to work block shifts in regional NSW (e.g., several days at a time).
n
Diploma in Youth Work or relevant qualifications and relevant experience.
n
A caring, patient, and empathetic attitude.
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Ability to work flexible hours, including Sleepovers, weekends, and holidays.
n
Previous experience/qualification working with youth and a desire to nurture youth to the best of your ability
n
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
n
Ability to pass a background check and obtain relevant clearances.
n
