- 12 months contract opportunity- with a high potential to go perm

- Location: Sydney CBD- hybrid work arrangements

- Offering $450/day including super
n
n
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible to resolve technical cases created by customers looking for help to understand or troubleshoot unexpected behaviours or to answer technical questions about the software and platform.
n
Responsibilities:
n
n
- Customer Advocate providing support to users/administrators of our platform. Contributing to the growth of best practices for delivery of support services.
n
- Understanding the platform and all core functionalities while employing various diagnostic tools to isolate the potential cause of the issue.
n
- Providing input across business units regarding process and product improvements when working on technical issues for customers.
n
- Resolve issues through various technologies including web, chat, email, case updates, as well as direct telephone support.
n
n
Skills required (Minimum 5 years relevant experience):
n
n
- A fundamental understanding of ITSM, ITIL, or CMDB
n
- Ability to troubleshoot difficult technical issues with ease and complexity.
n
- Personal commitment to quality and customer service
n
- Advanced MySQL / Postgres knowledge and hands on experience (Oracle also helpful but optional)
n
- Understanding of remote administration via SSH, SNMP, WMI, PowerShell.
n
n
Please Note: Due to the nature of the role, Candidates Must be based in Sydney and must be Permanent Residents or Citizens to be considered for this role.
