As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a reliable, switched-on Storeperson to join our team and take responsibility for keeping our warehouse organised and our installation teams supplied with the equipment they need.

About the role n

You'll be an important part of our day-to-day operations, working closely with our Operations Manager and installation teams.

n

Your main responsibility will be making sure the right products and equipment are received, organised, picked and ready for our electricians each day .

n

We're looking for someone who doesn't need to be constantly told what needs doing — someone who can see a job that needs to be done, get stuck in and take pride in keeping the warehouse running efficiently.

What you'll be doing n

Receiving and checking incoming deliveries

n

Unloading and safely storing solar, battery and electrical equipment

n

Picking and preparing materials for our installation teams

n

Loading materials onto vehicles each morning

n

Checking orders to ensure installers have everything they need

n

Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe

n

Maintaining accurate stock levels and assisting with regular stocktakes

n

Identifying low or missing stock and reporting this to the Operations Manager

n





Organising returns and assisting with warranty returns where required

n

Liaising with suppliers regarding deliveries and stock

n

Ensuring products and equipment are stored correctly

n

Assisting with general warehouse duties

n

Supporting the Operations Manager and wider team as required

About you n

We're looking for someone who is reliable, practical and takes pride in their work .

n

You will ideally have:

n

Previous experience in a storeperson, warehouse or similar hands-on role

n

Good organisational skills and attention to detail

n

A strong work ethic and reliable attendance

n

The ability to work independently and take initiative

n

A positive attitude and willingness to help the team

n

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

n

Basic computer skills

n

Physically fit and able to safely lift, carry and move equipment and materials weighing up to 25kg as required

n

A clean and tidy approach to your work

n

A current forklift licence is highly regarded.

n

Experience in the solar, electrical, construction or building industry would be an advantage, but isn't essential.
