Location: Near Gunnedah, NSW
Salary: $120,000 base + performance bonus + allowances
Total Package: Approximately $132,500–$138,000 + Super
Roster: 4/3

DC Search has partnered with a leading renewable energy company to recruit an experienced O&M; Lead Technician for a solar farm near Gunnedah, NSW.

n

This is an excellent prospect for an experienced electrical technician looking to take the next step into a leadership role within the rapidly growing renewable energy sector.

n

You’ll play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the solar farm, leading a team of technicians and ensuring the plant operates safely, reliably and at maximum performance.

What You’ll Be Doing n

n
- Oversee all on‑site operations and maintenance activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with business objectives.
n
- Plan and coordinate daily maintenance activities, allocating resources and prioritising tasks to meet operational targets.
n
- Monitor and optimise the performance of plant systems, including inverters, solar panels and electrical infrastructure.
n




- Develop and implement preventive and reactive maintenance strategies to maximise plant availability and minimise downtime.
n
- Lead, mentor and support a team of technicians, promoting a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.
n
- Take the lead during planned and unplanned outages, troubleshooting issues and coordinating timely restoration of the plant.
n
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical, environmental, health and safety requirements.
n
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and contractors to maintain high standards of plant performance and reliability.

Key Requirements nn
- NSW A Grade Electrical Licenceor Mutual Recognition
n
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
n
- HV Switching experience or qualification(Desirable)
n
- White Card
n
- LVR / CPR
n
- Previous experience within maintenance
n
