I’m recruiting for an established, highly regarded multidisciplinary engineering consultancy looking to strengthen its Fire Protection team in Sydney .

n

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fire Protection Engineer who wants exposure to major, technically challenging building projects , while joining a well-established team with strong project pipelines and genuine career progression.

The Opportunity n

As a Senior Fire Protection Engineer, you’ll take responsibility for the design and delivery of fire protection systems across a diverse portfolio of building projects.

n

For candidates operating at Principal level, there is scope to take on greater responsibility across technical leadership, project delivery, client relationships and mentoring more junior engineers.

n

You’ll be involved in:

n

n
- Sprinkler, hydrant, hose reel and other fire services systems
n
- Design documentation, specifications and technical reports
n
- Coordination with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, structural and architectural disciplines
n
- Managing projects from concept through detailed design and construction
n
- Attending client and project meetings
n
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
n




- Building strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
n

About You n

To be considered, you’ll ideally have:

n

n
- 4+ years’ experience in Fire Protection Engineering
n
- Experience within a building services engineering consultancy
n
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC requirements and relevant fire protection codes
n
- Experience designing fire protection systems for commercial, healthcare, education, data centre, defence or other complex building environments
n
- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills
n
