You will be responsible for providing efficient and welcoming front desk support to patients and healthcare providers at a growing GP and Specialist medical clinic.
Key responsibilities
- Managing appointments and patient registration via phone, emails and online websites
- Medicare, Work Cover/TAC and private patients billing and processing payments
- Scanning, correspondence and management of patient records and privacy
- Liaising with GPs, specialists, pathology and other healthcare providers
- Maintaining clinic presentation and cleanliness
- Monitoring clinic stock levels and arranging/replenishing supplies as required
- Assisting with routine opening and closing duties
- Working collaboratively, providing thorough handover and following/completing clinic SOPs checklists
About you
- Previous medical reception experience, particularly with Best Practice Software
- Strong computer and general IT skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Follows established procedures and SOPs consistently
- Proactive and comfortable helping with the practical day-to-day needs of the clinic
- Takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming environment
- Friendly, supportive and qualified working environment
- Modern clinic in Footscray
