Top-tier Australian firm | AI, Cyber & Technology | Major transactional + advisory work

n

I’m working with a leading top-tier Australian firm looking to add an Associate or Senior Associate to its TMT practice in Sydney.

n

This is a particularly broad TMT role, combining major technology transactions with work across some of the fastest-developing areas of the market.

The work n

You’ll advise major Australian and international clients across matters involving:

n

n
- Data & AI including governance, regulation, commercialisation and AI-related transactions

n
- Technology & telecommunications including major commercial projects, data centres, infrastructure and M&A;
n
- Technology aspects of corporate transactions, integrations and carve-outs
n
- Start-up, innovation and media-related matters
n

n

The client base spans technology, financial services, infrastructure, healthcare, media and other major industries.

Why consider it? n

The breadth is a real attraction. You’ll work across different Partners and matters rather than being funnelled into one narrow area of TMT, while still having the prospect to develop a specialism as your career progresses.

n

It’s also an opportunity to work on significant matters at the intersection of technology, AI, data, cyber and regulation , areas that are continuing to evolve rapidly.

Who they’re looking for n

There is flexibility from Associate through to Senior Associate .

n

Ideally, you’ll have TMT experience from a leading Australian, international or top-tier firm, with exposure to technology contracting and areas such as privacy, data or cyber.

Australian lawyers currently overseas with relevant experience and considering a return to Sydney are also encouraged to get in touch.
