Disability Support Workers Wanted – Join Our Growing Team n

We’re looking for caring, reliable disability support workers to support participants across Lakemba, Campsie, and Greenacre .

n

Shifts are available during the day, anywhere between 9:00am and 5:00pm , with flexibility and the chance to pick up additional hours as they become available.

Immediate Start | Casual & Ongoing Shifts Available n

MHCS is looking for compassionate Disability Support Workers to provide one‑on‑one support to participants living with Autism and complex mental health needs, including schizophrenia.

About the Role n

n
- Provide personal care and support with daily hygiene
n
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking
n
- Support participants with light household tasks (tidying, washing dishes, laundry)
n
- Transport participants to and from appointments and activities
n
- Encourage participation in meaningful daily activities and social engagement
n
- Provide reassurance, motivation, and companionship
n
- Follow behaviour support plans and maintain accurate records for the care team
n

What We’re Looking For n

n
- Experience supporting individuals with Autism and complex mental health needs
n
- Ability to work with participants with low and complex support needs
n
- Patient, empathetic, and professional approach
n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
- Female applicants only (due to participant requirements)
n
- Certificate III (or working towards) in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services
n
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Reliable motor vehicle and current driver’s licence
n
