The Opportunity n

We're seeking experienced Drill Fitters to join our team, with FIFO opportunities available for candidates based in Rockhampton .

n

You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing underground mining equipment while helping ensure equipment remains safe, reliable and available for operation.

What You'll Do n

n
- Conduct diagnostics and inspections on diesel engines and related systems.
n




- Perform repairs and maintenance on fuel, cooling, exhaust and electrical systems.
n
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
n
- Complete routine and preventative maintenance.
n
- Maintain accurate records of completed work.
n
- Prioritise safety and maintain an organised and efficient workspace.
n

What We're Looking For n

n
- Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter / Heavy Duty Mechanic .
n
- Previous experience on mine sites .
n
- Experience maintaining and repairing underground mining equipment.
n
- Strong diagnostics and fault-finding skills.
n
- Commitment to protected, high-quality and reliable work.
n
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
n
- Willingness to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical upon hire.
n
