Early Childhood Teacher | Nominated Supervisor | Educational Leader n
This position is ideal for an experienced and passionate Centre Director or Nominated Supervisor seeking a meaningful leadership role within a not‑for‑profit environment. You will oversee a medium‑sized, well‑resourced centre known for its strong relationships, low staff turnover and long‑standing community trust.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead all aspects of centre operations including compliance, staffing, rostering and quality assurance
n
- Provide strong day‑to‑day leadership to a team of experienced, passionate educators
n
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive and high‑performing team culture
n
- Work closely with the parent Committee of Management and Centre Administration
n
- Maintain the centre’s high standards and drive continuous improvement
n
- Lead recruitment, onboarding and retention initiatives
n
- Strengthen partnerships with families, local schools and the wider community
n
- Part time teaching responsibility
n

What We’re Looking For nn
- ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teaching Qualification
n
- Full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
n
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Centre Director, Educational Leader, or similar leadership role
n
- A confident and inspiring leader with excellent interpersonal skills
n
- Strong knowledge of NQS, EYLF and regulatory requirements
n
- Demonstrated experience supporting, mentoring and leading teams
n
- Experience in a not‑for‑profit or committee‑managed kindergarten is valuable (but not essential)
n
- A collaborative, community‑minded leadership style
n
- Passion for high‑quality early childhood education and strong alignment with child‑safe practices
n
