Technical Business Anlayst (AI and Data) n

Hiring Technical Business Analyst for one the quick paced client to join their growing Data, Analytics and AI Function.

n

The Technical Business Analyst has a fundamental role enabling and supporting the business to leverage BI & Analytics tools, while also applying AI-assisted tools such as GitHub and GitHub Copilot to accelerate solution design, documentation and delivery.

n

Capturing business requirements using Analysis techniques, liaising with business users, and providing support to translate business requirements into design, development, testing, training and implementation of solutions - combining traditional BA discipline with process improvement and AI-driven productivity.

Responsibilities

n

Promote and support the team's continuous improvement in quality and delivery output

n

Utilise functional knowledge to translate business requirements into viable solutions, participating in the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of BI and analytics solutions

n

Develop business requirements and functional design documents, end user manuals and business glossary

n

Develop user stories that balance great user experience with fit-for-purpose User Interface development

n





Manage cross-functionalprojects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with strategic goals while mitigating risks and adapting to project performance and stakeholder input

n

Develop and execute change management strategies, including impact assessments, stakeholder engagement and communication plans, to support successful adoption of new systems and reporting processes

n

Regular and effective internal customer engagement to build strong partnerships with stakeholders

n

Work with business units, project managers and project teams responsible for IT delivery and services.

Skills Required

n

5+ years demonstrated experience in Technical Business Analysis, ideally related to BI, Data Warehouse and Analytics solutions

n

Programming concepts and advanced knowledge of SQL

n

Working knowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g. Azure Synapse/Fabric, AWS Redshift, Databricks or similar)

n

Working knowledge of Data Warehouse design concepts and data modelling techniques

n

Ability to build reporting and visualisation in Power BI (Tableau or similar tools also highly regarded)

n

Hands-on experience with GitHub (repositories, version control, pull requests) and AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot
