Our client, a leading, family-owned boutique accounting firm based in Toowoomba, is looking for a talented Junior Accountant or Graduate Accountant to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with flexible work hours and on-going support.

You’ll have the option to work full-time or part-time – it’s entirely up to you!

Key Responsibilities: n

n
- Processing accounts payable and receivable
n
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
n
- Payroll processing and STP reporting
n
- Superannuation calculations and lodgements
n
- BAS preparation and lodgement
n
- Data entry and journal entries
n
- Assisting clients with software queries (e.g. Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks)
n
- Preparing management reports (P&L;, balance sheet, cashflow)
n




- Liaising with the ATO on client matters
n

To be successful in this role, you will need: nn
- A relevant degree qualification
n
- Two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in the accounting field.
n
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to client engagement.
n
- Experience in the preparation of tax returns and managing various accounting functions.
n
