Our client is a specialist mining contractor supporting operations across NSW, and they’re looking for a Light Vehicle Fitter to join their crew in Cobar.

This isn’t your standard workshop job.

n

You’ll be working on-site, looking after a small, well-maintained fleet of Landcruisers and Hiluxes that the mine relies on every day. It’s hands‑on work, good gear, solid conditions and a crew that knows what they’re doing.

What You’ll Be Looking After n

You’ll be responsible for keeping a small fleet of mine vehicles safe, reliable and ready to work, including:

- 10x Landcruisers
n
- 2–3x Hiluxes




n
- Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
n
- Mechanical repairs and fault finding
n
- Basic electrical troubleshooting
n
- Pre-starts and vehicle inspections
n
- Condition monitoring and general fleet maintenance
n
- Ensuring vehicles remain safe, reliable and mine-compliant
n

What You’ll Need nn
- Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
n
- Light vehicle mechanical experience
n
- Mining, heavy industry or dealership experience highly regarded
n
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
n
- Safety-first attitude and good attention to detail
n
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screen
n
