Are you looking to kick-start your career in engineering and become a qualified Boilermaker ? This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced team and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of industries and engineering projects.

n

As a 1st Year Certificate III Engineering - Heavy Fabrication (Boilermaking) Apprentice , you’ll work across both workshop and site environments, learning from highly experienced tradespeople while developing a broad range of practical engineering and fabrication skills.

n

What You’ll Be Doing

n

You’ll be exposed to a wide variety of work, including:

n

n
- Fabrication and sheet metal work
n
- Welding and mechanical components
n
- Machine maintenance across a variety of industries
n
- Machine installation and relocation
n
- Modification and design of machinery
n
- Shutdown work
n
- Machining and optical alignments
n
- Rigging and pipe work
n
- General engineering and maintenance tasks
n
- Problem-solving and fault-finding
n
- Working safely on-site and in the workshop
n

n

No two days will necessarily be the same, giving you the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and experience throughout your apprenticeship.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

n

n
- Committed to completing their apprenticeship and learning the trade
n
- Interested in engineering, machinery, welding and mechanical components
n
- Confident with Mathematics and English
n




- Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
n
- Well presented, enthusiastic and reliable
n
- Detail-oriented and willing to learn
n
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
n
- Committed to working safely and following all site WHS requirements
n
- Willing to undertake regional travel as part of a supervised team
n
- Keen to develop practical skills and build a long-term career in engineering
n
