HSIE Teacher - 2027 Terms 1-3 Maternity Leave Cover n

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality HSIE learning experiences across relevant subject areas. This is a full-time maternity leave cover position for Terms 1-3, 2027, with a possibility of continuing into Term 4.

Key responsibilities n

Deliver engaging HSIE lessons aligned with NESA curriculum requirements

n

Must teach Society and Culture

n

Plan and implement effective programs, lesson plans, and assessment strategies that promote strong student learning outcomes

n

Use diverse instructional methods and technology to meet varied learning needs

n

Assess and report on student progress, providing timely, constructive feedback

n

Maintain a positive classroom environment that supports engagement, wellbeing, and academic growth

n

Actively support the Catholic ethos of the College and engage with the wider College community

About you n

Strong subject knowledge across HSIE disciplines

n

Ability to differentiate the curriculum to create an inclusive learning environment

n

Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills

n

Ability to work collaboratively and deliver a future-focused education to students

n

Current NSW Working With Children Check and appropriate teaching accreditation

n
