About the Role

n

Join our Finance team as a Financial Analyst on a six-month daily rate contract and help deliver analysis that supports business improvement projects and informed decision-making. You will work across a range of finance initiatives, bringing together financial, operational and transactional data to identify insights, investigate issues and support positive business outcomes.

n

This is an opportunity to work on meaningful projects, contribute to process improvements and collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Technology and the broader business.

- Analyse financial data and transactions to perform financial and operational reconciliations and provide analysis of revenue, cost, and balance sheet movements.
n
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
n
- Develop models, templates and supporting schedules to assist planning and reporting.
n
- Conduct variance, trend, scenario and reasonableness analysis.
n
- Support Finance process reviews, including Procure-to-Pay and Workday Finance activities.
n
- Investigate exceptions, identify trends and provide evidence-based recommendations.
n
- Perform financial and operational reconciliations and analyse revenue, costs, expenses and balance sheet movements.
n
- Analyse ERP and financial system data to support projects,



including migration and system improvement activities.
n
- Prepare explicit documentation, workpapers and analysis that supports effective decision-making.
n
- Partner with project owners and stakeholders to deliver agreed outcomes within scope and timeframes.

About You

n

You're a curious and adaptable finance professional who enjoys solving problems, working with data and making complex information easier to understand. You bring robust analytical skills, a team-oriented approach and the ability to manage changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline.
n
- CA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent qualification, or progress toward qualification, would be advantageous.
n
- Transaction-level finance exposure and experience preparing reconciliations.
n
- Experience in financial analysis, management accounting, and the preparation or support of budgeting, forecasting and management reporting activities.
n
- Strong accounting knowledge and financial analysis capability.
n
- Experience preparing reconciliations and working with transaction-level financial data.
n
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.
n
- Experience extracting and analysing information from an ERP or financial-management system.
n
- Workday Finance, ERP migration or Finance process-analysis experience would be advantageous.
n
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
n
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
n
- A cleared police check is required prior to commencement of the role.
n
- You must hold current permanent and full-time working rights in Australia.
