About The Health Centre n
Amberley Health Centre is located at RAAF Base Amberley - the largest Air Force base in Australia, just 50 minutes from Brisbane.
n
The centre delivers healthcare services to over 6,500 RAAF members and includes primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy and mental health care.
n
The standard operating hours are 07:30-15:30, Monday-Friday, depending on role requirements and specific craft group requirements for weekend and on-call shifts.
What you'll do n
n
- Deliver high-quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations, or monitor and manage patients in a low-dependency ward setting
n
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians and dental professionals
n
- Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management and preventative care
n
What you bring nn
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Minimum one year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting
n
- Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
n
- Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
n
- Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
n
- A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
