Clermont veterinary surgery is a well-established mixed practice clinic who have been proudly serving our local community and surrounding district for over 45 years. We’re on the hunt for a vet nurse to join our friendly, down-to-earth team in a true mixed practice where no two days are the same. Located in the heart of central Queensland’s cattle country a friendly rural community with a strong sporting, farming and equine culture.

- Genuine mixed practice, with caseload approximately 35% equine, 35% small animal, 30% cattle
n
- Fully-equipped clinic offering 24-hour emergency care, surgery and dentistry
n
- Ambulatory equine and mixed practice services
n
- A supportive, close-knit team with 100+ years of combined experience
n

About the Role: nn
- Full-time position 76 hours/fortnight, for immediate start
n
- Hands on nursing role working across our services – including administering medication,



anaesthetic preparation and monitoring and supporting our veterinary and reception team, in clinic and on the road
n

What We’re Looking For: nn
- Cert IV or vet tech qualification highly regarded
n
- Ideally 2 years minimum experience in small or mixed animal nursing
n
- Positive, can-do attitude with strong communication skills
n
- Strict attention to detail, record keeping skills and able to follow instructions
n
- A genuine team player
