THE ROLE nn
- Take ownership of the Accounts Receivable function and support day-to-day operations
n
- Manage complex billing, payments, allocations, journals, credits and account adjustments
n
- Monitor aged debtors and proactively manage collections activities
n
- Handle escalated customer and stakeholder queries with professionalism and empathy
n
- Perform reconciliations, reporting and month-end activities
n
- Assist with government funding reconciliations and administrative requirements
n
- Maintain accurate financial records across customer, bond and accommodation accounts
n
- Partner closely with operational teams to resolve issues and improve outcomes
n
- Identify opportunities to enhance systems, controls and processes
n
- Act as a senior team member, providing guidance and support to junior staff where required
n
THE PERSON nn
- Experience within Accounts Receivable, Collections or a similar finance role
n
- Demonstrated experience managing complex billing and reconciliation processes
n
- Strong understanding of debtor management and customer account administration
n
- Natural leadership qualities with the desire to mentor and develop others
n
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
n
- Experience within Aged Care, Health Care, NFP or Retirement Living environments will be highly regarded
n
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
n
- Process improvement mindset with the ability to identify efficiencies
n
- ERP systems experience is advantageous
