Experienced Crane Operators / Riggers required for ongoing 2:1 FIFO work from Perth

Our client is seeking experienced Crane Operators / Riggers to join a large-scale iron ore operation based at Cape Preston in the Pilbara.
n
This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing FIFO work and join an established maintenance and shutdown team.
n
ABOUT THE ROLE
n
You will work a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth , consisting of one week of day shift, one week of night shift and one week off.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Operating mobile cranes and Franna pick-and-carry units across maintenance and shutdown activities
n
- Lifting and positioning equipment and mechanical components alongside rigging crews
n
- Completing pre-start checks and daily plant inspections
n
- Maintaining safe exclusion zones and following approved lift plans
n
- Supporting shutdown activities and performing rigging tasks as directed
n
- Working collaboratively with tradespeople and the wider maintenance team
n
- Following site procedures and maintaining a strong commitment to safety
n

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
n
n
- High Risk Work Licence – Non-slewing Mobile Crane (CN)
n
- High Risk Work Licence – Elevated Work Platform (WP)
n
- Working at Heights certificate
n
- Confined Space Entry certificate
n
- Construction White Card
n
- Current driver’s licence
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
- Ability to remain clean shaven and wear a respirator mask, such as a 3M 7500 or equivalent
n
n
DESIRABLE
n
n
- High Risk Work Licence – Slewing Mobile Crane (CO)
n
- High Risk Work Licence – Basic Rigging (RB) or higher, with Advanced Rigging (RA) preferred
n
- High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (LF)
n
- HR driver’s licence or above
n
- First Aid / CPR
n
- Previous FIFO or fixed-plant experience
