About the role:

n

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Learning Specialist to join our Training & Development team at the JBS Brooklyn Plant.

n

This role is ideal for someone passionate about learning, capability development and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining learning resources, systems and processes that support employee development, compliance and operational excellence across the site.

n

You will work closely with operational leaders, subject matter experts and key stakeholders to create engaging learning solutions, maintain training compliance and drive continuous improvement in our learning framework.

n

Responsibilities:

n

- Develop and maintain Learning Plans, competency assessments, work instructions and training materials across operational and support functions.
n
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to design effective, task-based learning solutions.
n
- Create engaging learning content including e-learning modules, visual aids, assessments and training resources.
n
- Manage document control processes, ensuring learning documentation remains current, compliant and audit-ready.
n
- Maintain training records and learning content within the Learning Management System (LMS) and SharePoint.
n




- Monitor training compliance and provide regular reporting to leaders and key stakeholders.
n
- Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the site's Task Specific Training Framework.
n
- Review and improve learning processes, systems and resources to enhance the employee learning experience.
n
- Assist with learning system administration, data management and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
- Provide support to the wider Training & Development team on site learning projects and workforce capability programs.

About you:

n

n
- Experience in Learning & Development, Training Coordination, Instructional Design or a similar role.
n
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training development methodologies.
n
- Experience developing training materials, assessments and learning documentation.
n
- Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS), SharePoint and Microsoft Office applications.
n
- Strong attention to detail and document management skills.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
n
- Proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach to work.
n
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable).
n
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG or operational environments will be highly regarded.
n
