Disability Support Worker - Vietnamese Speaking n

We are currently seeking a Vietnamese Speaking Disability Support Worker to join our growing team and provide person-centred support to clients around Liverpool & Southwest Region.

Key responsibilities n

Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities

n

Provide household and domestic support

n

Support community participation and social engagement

n

Provide transportation to appointments and activities

n

Offer emotional support and companionship

n

Provide respite support for families and carers

n

Promote independence, choice, and wellbeing

About you n

Ability to speak Vietnamese and English

n

Genuine passion for supporting people with disability

n

Minimum 6 months' experience in disability support or a similar role

n

Relevant qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Disability, or equivalent qualification

n

Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

n

Current National Police Check

n

Current Working With Children Check

n

Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

n





Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel between client locations

n

Experience supporting people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds

n

Understanding of person-centred and strengths-based support practices

n

Services are delivered across 7 days per week , based on client needs and support requirements.

n

Priority will be given to candidates available on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Applicants available on Mondays and Tuesdays are also encouraged to apply and may be considered for upcoming opportunities as they become available.
