We are partnering with an established, specialist commercial roofing and cladding contractor based in Sydney. Known for high-end execution on major commercial builds, industrial facilities, and refurbishments across Greater Sydney, they have built a strong reputation for doing the job right the first time.

Due to an upcoming team transition, they are seeking a hands‑on, detail‑oriented Working Foreman to lead their installation crew on long‑term project runs (typically 4–5 months per site).

About the Role n

Reporting directly to the Company Director, you will lead day‑to‑day site operations while remaining active on the tools. You will supervise a tight crew of 2 to 4 roofers, taking ownership of site safety, trade productivity, and initial structural set‑outs.

Key Responsibilities n

- Site Leadership : Lead and motivate a small crew in office, ensuring jobs run safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
n
- Insulated Panel & Roofing Set‑Out : Take ownership of precision set‑outs, fixing, and detailing for insulated roof/wall panels, safety mesh, and insulation blankets.
n
- Quality Control : Conduct detailed inspections on all flashings, joins, and penetrations to ensure watertight, defect‑free finishes.
n
- Safety & Compliance : Enforce strict Working at Heights procedures, EWP usage, and SWMS compliance across the team.
n
- Director Liaison :



Maintain regular communication with the Director regarding site progress, material requirements, and project milestones.

What We Are Looking For nn
- Roofing & Trades Background : Extensive commercial roofing experience with a proven track record as a Leading Hand, Working Foreman, or Site Lead.
n
- Insulated Panel Expertise : Hands‑on experience installing insulated roof and/or wall panels (e.g., Kingspan, Bondor) is highly desired .
n
- Precision & Quality : A "build-it-right" attitude with sharp attention to detail during set‑outs and structural alignments.
n
- Essential Tickets & Licences n n
- Valid NSW Driver’s Licence & White Card
n
- Working at Heights Certification (essential)
n
- EWP / Yellow Card (Scissor & Boom Lift over/under 11m preferred)
n
- Crane / Dogging / Rigging tickets are a major bonus
n
