Dual Trade Maintenance Technician - Night Shift | $65-$70/hr + Loading

Looking for a dedicated permanent night shift role where you can put both your mechanical and electrical skills to work?

We are seeking an experienced Dual Trade Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing operation. This is a permanent position from day one , offering an excellent hourly rate, additional night shift loading and long‑term stability with a dynamic and growing business.

THE ROLE n

Working as part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for keeping production equipment running safely, efficiently and reliably.

n

Your duties will include:

n

- Mechanical and electrical breakdown maintenance
n
- Fault finding and troubleshooting production equipment
n
- Preventative and planned maintenance
n
- Mechanical repairs, component replacement and equipment adjustments
n
- Electrical diagnostics, repairs and maintenance
n




- Minimise downtime and respond quickly to production breakdowns
n
- Identify recurring faults and opportunities to improve equipment reliability
n
- Work closely with production teams to maximise plant performance
n
- Maintain strong safety and maintenance standards across the site
n

ABOUT YOU n

Dual trade qualifications are essential for this position. You must have:

n

n
- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent
n
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent
n
- Current NSW Electrical Licence
n
- Proven maintenance experience within an FMCG manufacturing environment
n
- Strong production and breakdown maintenance experience
n
- Confident mechanical and electrical fault‑finding capability
n
- Experience working on rapid‑paced production machinery and equipment
n
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
n
- Ability to work effectively and independently on a dedicated night shift
n
- Full Australian work rights
n
- Ability to provide contactable references from previous employers
