We are particularly interested in local applicants from the Central West , however DIDO applicants are also encouraged to apply . Depending on the project and individual circumstances, we are open to discussing roster arrangements including 5:2 and 2:1 .

THE ROLE n
We are looking for experienced Concreters and Formworkers with skills across one or more of the following areas:
n
n
- Setting up, installing and stripping formwork
n
- Reading and working from construction drawings and plans
n
- Steel fixing and reinforcement placement
n
- Concrete pours, including placing, screeding, finishing and curing
n
- Construction of slabs, footings, walls, drains and other concrete structures
n
- Safe operation of hand and power tools
n
- General construction and site duties as required
n
- Working effectively as part of a crew and following site requirements
n
- Travelling to regional NSW projects when required
n
REQUIREMENTS nn
- Demonstrated experience in concreting and/or formwork
n
- Experience within civil, commercial, industrial or mining construction preferred
n
- Good understanding of concrete construction methods and/or formwork systems
n
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
n
- White Card
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual construction work
n
- Willingness to travel and work away when required
n
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team
n
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing
n
n
Trade qualifications in Carpentry, Concreting or Formwork are highly regarded but not essential for applicants with strong demonstrated experience.
