Utility Locator — SUI Division | Gregory Hills NSW n

RCS is a surveying and civil infrastructure consultancy working with contractors on major road, rail, and civil projects across NSW, ACT, and QLD.

n

We're growing our Subsurface Utility Investigation division and looking for experienced Utility locators to join the team, based out of either our Gregory Hills (NSW) & Brisbane (QLD) offices.

The Role n

Perform SUI works using EM locating, GPR, and sonde tracing on active infrastructure sites

n

Produce SUI reports and deliverables integrated with our existing 12d Synergy workflows

n

Work across road, rail, water, and civil infrastructure projects for major contractor clients

n

Collaborate with RCS's survey teams and in-house drafting on integrated survey + SUI packages

n

Work alongside NDD/CCTV subcontractors on site

n

Ensure quality and safety standards are met on all SUI deliverables

n

Proven experience in utility locating and utility surveys

n

CertLoc certification or equivalent demonstrated competency

n

EM locating,



GPR, and sonde tracing experience

n

Working knowledge of AS 5488:2022 and AS 1345 colour coding standards

n

DBYD compliance knowledge

n

White Card, current driver's licence, National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

n

Concrete scanning experience

n

Exposure to 3D array GPR systems and post-processing software

n

Confined Space or Traffic Control accreditation

n

Surveying qualifications or experience

n

Experience managing NDD/CCTV subcontractors
