M.F.E. Services Pty Ltd is seeking an Apprentice Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our wet fire team in Murarrie, Brisbane.
n
This is a rare opportunity to enter a specialised trade and build a long-term career in fire protection while working towards the CPC32820 Certificate III in Fire Protection.
n
We are looking for someone who is keen to work, willing to learn and valuable to have around. Previous fire industry or trade experience is definitely a bonus, but it is not the most important thing. We are happy to teach the right person and support them to build their skills and knowledge over time.
n
We would much rather employ someone with little or no experience who has a good attitude and genuinely wants to learn than someone with industry experience who is unwilling to work as part of a team.
What you will learn n
Working alongside experienced technicians, you will gain practical experience with:
n
n
- Fire sprinklers, pumps and water storage tanks
n
- Hydrants and hose reels
n
- Fire suppression systems
n
- Routine maintenance testing and compliance servicing
n
- Service, repairs and rectification works

n
- Safe use of tools, site procedures and quality workmanship

n

n
n
A current driver licence is required. Experience in fire protection, sprinklers, pumps, tanks, extinguishers or another trade is preferred but not essential.
What we offer n
n
- A genuine full time apprenticeship opportunity
n
- Practical, supervised training and mentoring from experienced wet fire technicians
n
