Job Description
Production Supervisor – 2-Year FTC – Up to $130k + Super n
Location: Warriewood, NSW
Salary: $130,000 + Super
Contract: 2-Year Fixed Term Contract

n Fuse Recruitment are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a team of approximately 25 production employees across six key production lines at a leading, highly regulated manufacturing and packing facility in Warriewood. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on people leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about safety, quality, operational excellence and continuous improvement . As Production Supervisor, you will take ownership of shift operations, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and in accordance with GMP and quality requirements. You will play a key role in developing your team, driving performance and partnering with internal support functions to deliver strong operational outcomes.

About the Role n
Reporting into the Production Manager,
you will be responsible for leading day-to-day production operations across six production lines, while managing and developing a team of around 25 employees. Your key responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Lead, coach and develop the production team to deliver safety, quality and production objectives.
n
- Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with safety policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
n
- Champion a quality-first mindset , ensuring production meets GMP and regulatory standards.
n
- Lead investigations into safety incidents, hazards, quality deviations and production issues, ensuring appropriate corrective and preventative actions are implemented.
n
- Coordinate production activities, changeovers, GMP cleaning and line operations in accordance with SOPs and target rates.
n
- Manage resources effectively to achieve daily and weekly production targets.
n
- Monitor and drive resolution of production downtime in partnership with Maintenance and other support functions.
n
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the packing operation, using structured problem-solving methodologies.
n
- Support production planning and contribute to the weekly production schedule.
n
- Manage overtime and casual labour expenditure within approved budgets.
n
- Establish clear team and individual KPIs and provide regular performance feedback.
n
- Coordinate training, capability development and succession planning across the team.
n
- Conduct regular performance and development conversations with team members.
n
- Manage performance and behavioural issues in line with company processes.
n
- Work collaboratively with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Engineering and other support functions.
n
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, plant, equipment and operational readiness.
n
- Ensure timely escalation of significant safety, quality and production issues.
n
- Support the review and continuous improvement of SOPs, processes and procedures.
n
About You n
You will be an experienced production or manufacturing leader who enjoys being visible on the floor, developing people and driving operational performance.
n You will ideally bring:
n
n
- Proven experience leading teams within a fast-paced manufacturing, production or packing workplace .
n
- Experience working within a highly regulated environment , ideally with exposure to GMP requirements.
n
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing sizeable production teams.
n
- A strong understanding of safety, quality and compliance requirements within manufacturing.
n
- Experience with continuous improvement and structured problem-solving methodologies .
n
- A track record of delivering production targets while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
n
- Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
n
- The ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a high-volume operational environment.
n
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in manufacturing, operations, engineering, science or a related discipline are desirable.
n
