The Role n

Reporting into a highly experienced legal team, you'll enjoy a broad and varied practice spanning transactional, commercial, property, and financial services law.

Key responsibilities include:

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, lending documents and finance transactions.
n
- Managing lending and asset finance matters from inception through to completion.
n
- Advising on trust structures, security arrangements and transaction structuring across the lending portfolio.
n
- Supporting property backed finance transactions, including due diligence, securities, settlements and related documentation.
n
- Working closely with brokers, external legal advisers and business stakeholders to facilitate seamless transaction execution.
n
- Providing practical, commercially focused advice on legal and regulatory issues affecting lending and credit products.
n




- Maintaining strong transaction management and record keeping practices across a high volume workflow.
n
- Contributing to the ongoing development of legal precedents, documentation and internal processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
n

About You n

You’ll likely bring n

n
- A Bachelor of Laws and approximately 3 to 5 years post admission experience gained in commercial, property, banking and finance, or corporate transactions.
n
- Experience advising on property transactions, lending arrangements, trust structures or secured finance matters.
n
- Solid drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
n
- Excellent organisational abilities and the confidence to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
n
- A pragmatic, solutions focused mindset with a genuine interest in understanding how financial products and transactions work.
n
- The ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to both legal and non legal stakeholders.
n
- An interest in financial services regulation, with exposure to areas such as ASIC, the Corporations Act, NCCP, Privacy, AML/CTF and PPS legislation highly regarded.
