Our client is a well-established Japanese-owned organizationwith a growing presence in Australia. They are currently seeking an experiencedAccountant / Senior Accountant to support the CFO and contribute to thecontinued growth of the business. This role offers broad exposure acrossfinancial reporting, business partnering, process improvement, and teamleadership within a collaborative and professional setting.

Responsibilities

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Leadmonth-end and year-end close processes
n
- Prepareaccurate financial statements and management reports
n
- Supportbudgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
n
- Analyzefinancial performance and provide insights to management
n
- Supportthe CFO with financial and operational matters
n
- Workclosely with internal and external stakeholders across Australia and Japan
n
- Ensurecompliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and internalcontrols
n
- Coordinateexternal audits and liaise with advisors where required
n
- Overseeaccounts payable and accounts receivable processes
n
- Supervise,mentor,



and support junior finance staff
n
- Drivecontinuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures
n
- Maintainfinancial information using Xero and other accounting systems
n
- Performad hoc finance and accounting duties as required
n

Your Profile

n

The successful candidate will possess:

n

n
- Bachelor’sdegree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
n
- Minimum3 years of accounting and finance experience within Australia
n
- Previousexperience at Senior Accountant, Finance Manager, Assistant FinanceManager, or equivalent level
n
- Strongfinancial reporting and management accounting experience
n
- Experiencewith budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
n
- Demonstratedexperience supervising and mentoring junior staff
n
- Solidunderstanding of Australian accounting standards and taxation requirements
n
- Experienceusing Xero and other accounting systemsStrongstakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills
n
- FluentJapanese and English language skills, both written and verbal
n
- CPA orCA qualification, or progress towards completion, is highly regarded
n
- Abilityto work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
n
- Abilityto commute to the office by car
n
