Responsibilities Include nn
- Preparing and validating payroll data before submission to the external payroll provider
n
- Reviewing payroll reports and checking payments, deductions and leave balances for accuracy
n
- Investigating discrepancies and coordinating corrections and adjustments
n
- Reviewing award classifications, pay rates, travel and overnight allowances, and enterprise agreement conditions
n
- Responding to employee payroll queries and explaining outcomes clearly
n
- Improving payroll controls and processes to reduce manual intervention
n
Skills & Experience nn
- Robust end to end payroll experience, including award and enterprise agreement interpretation
n
- Confidence investigating pay, leave and system discrepancies
n
- Experience with complex classifications, allowances or mixed employment arrangements
n
- A curious, proactive approach to problem solving
n
- Clear communication skills and an interest in working with people from diverse backgrounds
n
- Employment Hero experience would be advantageous
