The Wait Staff position is responsible for delivering warm, professional and memorable dining experiences to every guest at Argyle House Camden. The successful applicant will have previous hospitality experience, a positive attitude and the confidence to work in a busy premium restaurant and functions environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication and a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.

Key responsibilities n

- Welcome guests warmly and professionally, escort guests to their tables and assist with seating where required.
n
- Provide attentive, friendly and knowledgeable service throughout the guest experience.
n
- Explain menus, daily specials, steak selections, beverages and function packages.
n
- Respond to guest questions and requests promptly and anticipate guest needs without being intrusive.
n
- Handle guest concerns professionally and refer serious matters to the Duty Manager.
n
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter orders correctly through the venue's point-of-sale system.
n
- Serve food and beverages according to Argyle House service standards and check meals before delivery to the table.
n
- Monitor tables throughout service and ensure drinks, cutlery and condiments are replenished.

- Clear and reset tables efficiently and present and process guest accounts accurately.
n
- Prepare the restaurant, private dining room, balcony and function spaces before service, including table settings, polishing glassware and folding napkins.

About you nn
- Previous restaurant, bar, functions or hospitality experience.
n
- Current NSW RSA certificate.
n
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
n
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently during busy services.
n
- Excellent personal presentation and hygiene.
n
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
n
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods and safely carry plates, trays and beverages.
n
- Australian working rights appropriate to the position.
