Electrical Fitter / Fitter-Mechanic - Switchboards n

We are one of Queensland's Leading Electrical Switchboard manufacturers, looking for another Electrical Fitter/Mechanic to join our growing our team. Work on high-quality, high-profile projects.

Qualifications & experience n

Trade qualification as an Electrician, Electrical Fitter, or equivalent.

n

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

n

Good communication and teamwork skills.

n

Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

n

Ability to follow instructions and work safely.

n

Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.

n

Current driver's licence and reliable transport.

n

Construction White Card

n

Experience in electrical switchboard manufacturing, control panel building,



or industrial electrical work.

n

Knowledge of AS/NZS electrical standards relating to switchboard manufacture

n

Testing and commissioning experience.

n

Forklift licence, EWP licence, or other relevant certifications.

Tasks & responsibilities n

Meter wiring / controls wiring following workshop drawings

n

Fit-out Switchboards

n

Bus bar manufacture utilizing factory machinery (training provided)

n

Drive projects to completion

n

Pre-test / pre-commission assemblies

n

Electrical workshop, and general WH&S;

n

Flexible work hours (4 day working week as standard)
