Abruzzo Ceramics is looking for a friendly, creative and customer-focused Showroom Sales Consultant to join our Wetherill Park team.

n

This role combines helping customers choose beautiful tiles with creating engaging social media content that showcases our products and inspires our audience.

n

You’ll worktwo days per week, including Saturdays , with the second day agreed with the successful applicant.Saturday availability and practical social media experience are essential.

Key responsibilities n

n
- Greet and welcome customers to the showroom, creating a warm and professional first impression
n
- Provide expert product knowledge and recommendations based on customer requirements and preferences
n
- Demonstrate ceramic products effectively, highlighting key features, benefits and applications
n
- Assist customers through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to finalising transactions
n
- Process sales transactions accurately, utilising point-of-sale systems and maintaining proper documentation
n
- Maintain showroom displays and product presentation to the highest standards
n
- Address customer queries and concerns professionally, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty
n
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall financial performance of the showroom
n
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth showroom operations
n
- Keep informed about new products, promotions and industry trends
n




- Creating and regularly updating content for our social media channels, including Instagram and Facebook.
n
- Taking appealing photos and short videos of tile ranges, showroom displays and new arrivals.
n
- Producing posts, stories and reels that share product information and design inspiration.
n
- Writing clear, engaging captions that reflect our business.
n
- Planning and scheduling content with the team to maintain a consistent online presence.
n

What we’re looking for nn
- Reliable availability fortwo days per week, including every Saturday .
n
- Proven experience in a showroom, retail or sales consultant role, preferably within the building materials, ceramics, or home improvement industry
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers
n
- Product knowledge or willingness to quickly learn about ceramic products and their applications
n
- Professional appearance and demeanour befitting a customer-facing role
n
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills
n
- Hands-on experience creating and publishing social media contentfor a business, brand or organisation.
n
- Confidence producing photos, short videos, stories and reels.
n




- Experience using Canva or similar editing and content creation tools, would be ideal.
n
- Problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach to service delivery
n
- Enthusiasm, reliability and a positive attitude towards work
n
- Desirable: Experience with design consultation or knowledge of interior design trends
