We are looking for Pool Lifeguards with a positive, hardworking attitude.

We are currently hiring for the summer season. Casual employment will be from October 2026 to 31 March 2027.

n

As a Stonnington Pool Lifeguard at the Harold Holt Swim Centre and Prahran Aquatic Centre, you will provide a protected, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for the community. Candidates must be available to work a variety of shifts across weekends, evenings and early mornings.

In this role you will:

- Provide effective supervision of aquatic facilities to ensure the safety of all facility users
n
- Remain vigilant, focused, and responsive at all times
n
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to educate, enforce rules,



and respond to incidents as needed
n

n

The hourly rate is $45.34 per hour (includes casual loading) plus 12% superannuation.

What you'll need to succeed in this role: n

- Current Pool Lifeguard qualification
n
- Current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) certificate
n
- Current Employee Working with Children Check
n

Essential requirements: nn
- Pool Lifeguard Award
n
- Level 2 / Senior Provide First Aid
n
- Current Provide/Perform CPR
n
- Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
