The Company… This NSW Government department plays a crucial role in the wellbeing of the people of NSW and is currently delivering a range of important projects across the state. This highly regarded government organisation is seeking an experienced ICT Commercial Specialist to support the development and implementation of commercial and procurement projects.

The successful candidate will have strong public sector experience, along with a sound understanding of contemporary strategic procurement approaches and best practice, with a particular focus on ICT.

Please note: This is a 6-month contract with potential for extension, offering a hybrid working arrangement based in Sydney CBD.

The Job… n

Reporting into the Manager, ICT Commercial, in this commercial and procurement focused role, you will be responsible for the following duties:

n

- Provide commercial, procurement and contract support across ICT projects and operations.
n
- Develop and coordinate tender, sourcing and procurement documentation.
n
- Facilitate procurement evaluations,



approvals and contract processes.
n
- Maintain contract registers, procurement records and supplier performance data.
n
- Support contract renewals, supplier management and procurement planning.
n
- Ensure compliance with NSW Government procurement policy and governance requirements.
n
- Provide commercial reporting and advice to support informed decision-making and value for money.

You… n

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas:

n

n
- Experience in ICT procurement, commercial or contract management, ideally within government.
n
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end procurement, NSW Government policy, probity and governance.
n
- Experience managing tenders, contracts, renewals, variations and suppliers.
n
- Solid stakeholder management, communication and reporting skills.
n
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
n
- Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
