Job Description

Herga Group is looking for a hands-on Full Stack Web Developer to build, maintain and continuously improve websites across our portfolio of businesses.

We're looking for someone who enjoys both development and design . You'll work with code, build responsive websites, develop custom functionality and integrations, and create polished digital experiences that support business growth.

n

WordPress is our primary platform today, but we're technology agnostic. We're interested in developers who can bring new ideas, technologies and better ways of building for the future.

n

This is not a marketing coordinator role. This is a genuine development role where you'll be actively building and improving websites every day.

About the Role n

You'll be the primary website delivery resource across the Herga Group, working across new website builds, enhancements, landing pages, integrations and ongoing improvements for multiple brands and industries.

n

You'll collaborate with Marketing, IT, Digital and business stakeholders, while being supported by experienced specialists across web development, digital engineering, SEO and digital growth.

n

Alongside our WordPress environment, you'll have opportunities to contribute to eCommerce, integrations, automation, AI and the future evolution of our digital platforms.

What You'll Be Doing n

Building, enhancing and maintaining websites across the Herga Group

Developing custom functionality using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and other relevant technologies

Creating responsive, visually engaging and user-friendly digital experiences

- n

Building reusable templates, components and modules

- n

Working with APIs, integrations, eCommerce and business systems

- n

Improving SEO, performance,



security and accessibility

- n

Exploring new technologies, automation and AI where they can improve our digital platforms

What We're Looking For Essential nn
- n

Commercial experience as a Web Developer

n
- n

Strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills

n
- n

Strong WordPress experience

n
- n

PHP and backend development experience

n
- n

Experience with APIs and third-party integrations

n
- n

Solid understanding of website hosting and web technologies

n
- n

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

n

Nice to Have nn
- n

UX/UI or visual design experience

n
- n

WooCommerce, Shopify or other eCommerce experience

n
- n

Technical SEO knowledge

n
- n

Experience with modern web frameworks or headless architectures

- n

Exposure to Microsoft 365 integrations, automation or AI platforms

You sit comfortably between developer and designer . You're just as happy working in HTML, CSS, JavaScript or PHP as you are refining a layout or improving the user experience.

You're a practical problem-solver who enjoys taking ownership, learning current technologies and, most importantly, building great websites .

You can work independently but also enjoy collaborating with developers, digital specialists, marketers and business stakeholders.
