Role : Python Developer Type of role - Permanent Position Location : Sydney, Australia Key Responsibilities n

Develop and maintain web applications, APIs, and data pipelines.

n

Build scalable solutions using Python, Azure, and Databricks.

n

Design and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and reporting workflows.

n

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver business solutions.

n

Ensure solutions meet security, performance, scalability, and reliability standards.

n

Create technical documentation, test plans, and deployment procedures.

n

Support production environments and drive continuous improvements.

Required Qualifications n

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.

n

7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Backend Development, or related technology roles.

n





Experience leading or mentoring technical team members.

Technical Skills n

Strong Python development skills (Django, Flask, FastAPI).

n

Advanced SQL and data modeling expertise.

n

Azure Cloud and Azure Databricks experience.

n

Experience with Spark, Hive, and big data technologies.

n

Knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices, and CI/CD practices.

n

Familiarity with Airflow, Control M, Git, Jenkins, JSON, XML, and cloud data platforms.

Soft Skills n

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Analytical mindset with excellent problem solving abilities.

n

Ability to work independently in quick paced agile environments.

n

Strong prioritization, collaboration, and mentoring capabilities.
