Afrimat Industries (Pty) Ltd, Lichtenburg has a vacancy for a:

n

GCC Engineer

n

Afrimat Industries is seeking a with at least 5 years’ experience in the mining or heavy industry setting at our Tswana Lime and Lovedale operations in Lichtenburg.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience n

n
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or Electrical Engineering.
n
- GCC (Mining) is a mandatory requirement.
n
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Maintenance Management within a heavy industrial environment.
n
- Cement manufacturing experience and knowledge of cement plant equipment will be advantageous.
n
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering and maintenance teams.
n
- Experience in maintenance planning, shutdown management, reliability improvement, and asset management.
n
- Strong knowledge of safety, statutory, and engineering compliance requirements.
n
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
n
- Must be dedicated, ethical, professional, and results-driven.
n





Duties And Responsibilities (not Limited To) nn
- Lead all engineering and maintenance activities at the Tswana Lime Quarry and Lovedale siding.
n
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximise plant reliability and availability.
n
- Manage preventative, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programmes.
n
- Lead shutdowns, major repairs, and capital projects.
n
- Manage maintenance budgets, resources, contractors, and engineering personnel.
n
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, efficiency, and equipment performance.
n
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, safety, and company requirements.
n
- Work closely with production teams to achieve operational targets.
n
- Develop and mentor maintenance and engineering teams.
n
- Other duties as assigned.
n
