Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Audio-Visual Technician to join our team at Diversified.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of project works, ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, within budget and to a high standard. You’ll work closely with project teams, site technicians and customers to deliver quality outcomes and represent Diversified professionally at all times.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Install and commission professional audio-visual and video conferencing equipment and systems.
n
- Set out installation works in accordance with project specifications, drawings and instructions.
n
- Install and terminate cabling systems, including conduit, cable tray, ducting and wire systems.
n
- Complete rack wiring, cable termination, testing, monitoring and labelling.
n
- Read and interpret schematic diagrams, panel drawings and rack layouts.
n
- Conduct line testing and commissioning of cabling systems, including field and inter-rack cabling.
n
- Complete commissioning documentation and maintain accurate project records.
n
- Identify and report installation issues and work collaboratively to resolve them.
n
- Travel to regional and remote client sites as required.
n
- Provide on-site training, guidance and mentoring to other team members.
n
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship, quality and attention to detail.
n




- Follow all WHS requirements and ensure work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
n
- Represent Diversified professionally when working on client sites.
n

Ideal candidate profile nn
- Certificate III in Electronics & Communications or a similar qualification is desirable.
n
- Holds a Current Cabler Registration – Open, with endorsements in S, OF, C and T is desirable
n
- Possess a Construction Induction Card (White Card) is essential.
n
- Understanding of WHSEQ documentation, e.g.: JSA, SWIMS.
n
- Experience installing, terminating, testing and commissioning AV and cabling systems.
n
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and rack layouts.
n
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship and safe work practices.
n
- A professional approach when working with customers and on client sites.
n
- A willingness to travel to regional and remote locations as required.
n
- Possess a valid drivers licence and access to vehicle.
n
