About the role

We are seeking talented Senior and Junior Hairstylists to join our thriving salon team at our Ashfield NSW location. These full-time & part-time positions offer an excellent chance to showcase your artistry, technical expertise, and passion for hair care in a skilled salon environment. Key responsibilities

Provide high-quality hairstyling services including cuts, colours, treatments, and styling for diverse clientele

n

Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and hair goals, offering expert recommendations

n

Maintain impeccable standards of hygiene, safety, and salon cleanliness at all times

n

Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and client loyalty

n

Stay current with the latest hairstyling trends, techniques, and products through ongoing professional development

n

For Senior Stylists: mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, assisting with their skill development

n

For Senior Stylists: contribute to salon procedures, training initiatives, and team excellence

n

Manage appointment schedules efficiently and communicate professionally with clients

n

Maintain detailed client records and preferences to personalise future appointments

n





Uphold the salon's reputation through exceptional customer service and professional conduct

n

What we’re looking for

n

Proven experience as a skilled hairstylist with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical skill and creativity (Senior Stylists: 5+ years; Junior Stylists: recent qualification or 1-2 years' experience)

n

Qualification in hairdressing from an accredited institution or recognised training programme

n

Proficiency in a wide range of hairstyling techniques including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments

n

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients

n

A passion for staying current with hair trends, styles, and industry innovations

n

Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients efficiently

n

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistently high-quality results

n

Professional, reliable, and team-oriented approach to work

n

Knowledge of hair health, product selection, and client care recommendations

n

For Senior Stylists: demonstrated mentoring ability and leadership qualities

n

For Senior Stylists: experience in training, guiding, or supervising other stylists is highly desirable
