The role n

Reporting to the AML Manager, this is an entry-level position and is ideal for someone starting their career in financial crime compliance. You'll carry out day-to-day AML/CTF checks on Trading 212 customers, and gain hands-on exposure to due diligence, transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting as you build your expertise in the field.

What You’ll Do n

n
- Performing manual review and onboarding of Trading 212 Customers.
n
- Undertaking Customer Due Diligence (CDD), including ECDD, OCDD, and PEPs, Sanctions and Adverse Media reviews.
n
- Conducting Transaction Monitoring
n
- Performing Payment Method Verifications
n
- Conducting Source of Wealth and Funds checks on Trading 212 Customers.
n
- Assist in screening and reviewing Customers for potential financial crime risks.
n
- Assist in updating Trading 212’s AML procedures
n
- Assist drafting periodic compliance reporting for Senior Management,



the Risk & Compliance Committee and the Board as required
n
- Stay informed on any changes to AML/CTF laws, regulations, and best practices.
n

What You Need To Have nn
- A degree in Commerce, Finance, or Economics
n
- Demonstrate interest and knowledge in AML/CTF laws and regulations.
n
- Strong data analysis skills, with the capability to develop and write analytical reports
n
- Strong stakeholder management skills
n
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
n
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, escalating challenges or concerns promptly and appropriately
n
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
n
- High energy for performance in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
