We’re offering a $4,000 sign-on bonus for compassionate and experienced Drug and Alcohol (AOD) Registered Nurses to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team at the Brisbane Immigration Detention Centre. Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm (flexible - day shift only)

n

$4,000 Sign-On Bonus available for eligible candidates*

n

How You’ll Make an Impact

n

n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals with drug and alcohol-related needs.
n
- Develop, implement, and review care plans tailored to each individual.
n
- Administer medications safely, including detoxification protocols when required.
n
- Provide education and support on harm reduction, relapse prevention, and recovery strategies.
n
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mental health professionals, security staff, and external services.

We’re looking for an experienced AOD Registered Nurse who brings strong clinical skills and a compassionate, non-judgemental approach to patient care.

n

You’ll need:

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
n
- Either:n n
- A postgraduate qualification in AOD + at least 5 years’ specialist AOD experience, or
n
- 7 years’ specialist AOD nursing experience
n
