About the role n
Flexalite is seeking a Prepress Operator / Large Format Print Operator to join our production team working across textile dye sublimation, vinyl print and cardboard workflows.
n
This is a full-time position offering ongoing career development opportunities.
n
You’ll be involved in producing graphics for major exhibitions, retail environments, brand activations, and display rollouts , operating our Durst P5 Direct-to-Fabric printer alongside vinyl production equipment.
n
Experience with Durst equipment is highly regarded, however training is available for the right candidate with strong large-format print experience.
Key responsibilities n
n
- Prepare artwork files for large format print production
n
- Operate Durst P5 Direct-to-Fabric dye sublimation printer
n
- Support vinyl printing workflows (SAV, wall graphics, display panels)
n
- Maintain colour consistency across textile and vinyl substrates
n
- Monitor print quality and troubleshoot production issues
n
- Manage RIP workflows and job queues
n
- Perform routine printer setup and maintenance checksWork closely with finishing and installation teams to meet deadlines
n
- Liaise with clients
n
Skills & experience nn
- Experience in large format print production or prepress
n
- Experience with vinyl printing workflows
n
- Textile printing experience highly regarded
n
- Durst experience advantageous but not essential (training provided)
n
- Adobe Creative Suite knowledge required
n
- Intermediate-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is required for artwork preparation and file handling
n
- RIP software experience (Caldera, Durst Workflow or similar) preferred
n
- Strong attention to detail
n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
n
- Reliable, proactive team player
