About the Role
n
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive People & Culture Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be the engine room of our People & Culture department, managing the day-to-day administrative workflow of the entire employee lifecycle, from initial recruitment screening to offboarding.
Key Responsibilities n
Recruitment and Candidate Administration
n
n
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment administration processes including posting job ads, screening resumes and scheduling interviews.
n
- Conduct mandatory compliance checks unique to Aged Care, including National Police Checks, AHPRA registration verifications and visa checks (VEVO).
n
- Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a skilled and warm experience.
n
n
Onboarding & Offboarding
n
n
- Coordinate the day one onboarding process ensuring new starters complete their mandatory online modules and facility orientations.
n
- Manage the offboarding workflow, including processing resignations, scheduling exit interviews, and coordinating IT access and deactivation.
n
- Maintain up to date digital employee files and ensure compliance documentation is securely stored.
n

Business Meeting Support
n
n
- Schedule, coordinate, and prepare agendas for all general business, management, and operational meetings across both facilities.
n
- Attend business meetings to take highly accurate, professional minutes and maintain action item logs.
n
- Follow up on operational action items with internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
n
n
Skills & Experience Required
n
n
- Prior Experience: Minimum 1 – 2 years of experience in a HR, People & Culture, or high-volume administration role (experience in Aged Care, Healthcare or Corporate Administration is highly regarded).
n
- Business Minute Taking: Demonstrated ability to transcribe highly accurate, concise minutes during operational and business meetings.
n
- Compliance Mindset: Strong attention to detail regarding healthcare compliance requirements, background checks, and clearance tracking.
n
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams) and experience using an HRIS, ATS or rostering system.
n
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional and empathetic approach.
n
- Time Management: Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain strict confidentiality, and meet deadlines under pressure.
n

Qualifications
n
n
- Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (desirable)
n
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Evidence of current vaccinations as per QLD Health and aged care requirements
n
n
