About the Role n
Responsibilities include:

- Day-to-day operation of the workshop
n
- Coordinating bookings, workflow and customer enquiries
n
- Vehicle servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs
n
- Diagnosing faults and identifying practical repair solutions
n
- Conducting vehicle inspections and roadworthiness assessments
n
- Managing registration-related inspections and associated online systems
n
- Maintaining workshop records, compliance documentation and inventory
n
- Supporting the maintenance of company vehicles, machinery and equipment
n
- Providing mechanical support across agricultural operations when required
n
- Maintaining a safe, organised and professional workshop environment
n
About You n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
- Trade qualifications as a Light Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent mechanical trade
n
- Proven experience in servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs
n
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
n
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
n
- Robust communication and customer service skills
n
- Sound computer skills and confidence using online systems
n
- Current driver's licence
n
Highly Regarded nn
- Experience conducting pink slips, blue slips or other registration inspections
n
- Authorised Inspection Station experience
n
- Workshop leadership or management experience
n
- Agricultural, rural or fleet maintenance experience
n
- Experience working with trailers, farm machinery and agricultural equipment
n
- A genuine interest in regional communities and agriculture
n
