We're hiring a Sydney-based content writer for 20–40 hours per week. Before applying, navigate to our brand, agedcarechecker .com, and get a feel for who we are, how we write and who we write for. We're an independent directory of aged care facilities, nursing homes and retirement homes across Australia.

The role n

You'll take official data (star ratings, staffing figures, fee schedules, government reports) and turn it into explicit, accurate content that families can use. Day to day, that means:

- Plain-language guides on choosing and paying for aged care (RADs, DAPs, means testing, star ratings)

- City and region guides ranking the best-rated homes
n
- Facility profile copy built from official sources
n
- Updates to our national aged care statistics report as new data is released
n
- Newsletter and social media content
n

About you nn
- You can turn dry,



complicated source material into writing anyone can follow
n
- You care about accuracy. Every figure has a source and you check it
n
- You have at least two years of writing experience in content, journalism, health, finance or similar
n
- You can write with SEO in mind without it reading like SEO
n
- You're comfortable using AI tools in your workflow, and you know that fact-checking and final judgement are yours
n
- Aged care, health or finance knowledge is a plus but not required
n
- You're based in Sydney
