About the Role As an EmergencyVeterinary Nurse, you will be involved in triage, hospital case management, surgery and criticalcarenursingincluding severe trauma cases.n
n You’ll be supported with structured training, a dedicated induction program, case reviews, mentoring, and ongoing internal nurse education.n
n
n A dedicated client care team helps with communication, so you can stay focused on patient care.n
n
n
- Permanent part-time roster of 7 shifts per fortnight (56-60 hours per fortnight), designed to support wellbeing, recovery time and professional development.
n
- Hands on triage, pathology, radiography, treatments, surgery, and patient care
n
- Critical care nursing, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent patient care
n
- Open hospital model, delivering quality experiences for clients
n
- Roster designed to support nurse wellbeing, learning & development, mentoring
n
- Collaborative approach to care between vets and vet nurses
n
As this is an after-hours emergency hospital, availability for nights, weekends and public holidays is essential.n

About You nn
- Minimum of 1-2 yearsof GP experience, ECC advantageous
n
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
n
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
n
- You bring a growth mindset, love learning new skills and best-practice methods
n
- Committed to providing quality care within an open hospital model
n
- Flexibility to work a rotating 24/7 roster
n
- Reliable mode of transport (essential for shift work)
